Class Description


This course is designed to familiarize the student with the Bible, Doctrines and the Nature of God.


Course Description

A systematic study of the doctrines of the Bible, the Triune God, and the nature and work of God. Discussed are His existence, nature, attributes and dealings with mankind.

This course will be a survey of the bible and its transmission to the student of the scriptures.

Jeffry Evans has worked in information technology, web development and business intelligence for 14 years. He has helped companies make and save significant money, as well as running his own successful business. His has a bachelor’s of business administration degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, with a major in computer information systems. He has a wife and one child, and is currently employed full-time, as well as ministering part time for Metropolitan Baptist Church and Texas Theological University & Seminary in developing software systems, online courses, etc.

Course Requirements

  1. Read the class notes in their entirety for each class and do the quiz for the grade.
  2. Three minor essays on questions given. The essay’s will be between 400 to 600 words in length. The student may review and do the paper at any time during the course and uploaded according to the instructions given.
  3. One major exam (Final Exam).

RESEARCH/ANALYSIS’ PAPERS

All Research/Analysis’ papers must be submitted according to APA guidelines.

Late papers, this includes homework and reading assignments, will be graded and then given a 5% per class period reduction.
